EUROLEAGUE WOMEN

UNIQA-EUROLEASING Sopron will give their fans a real treat on 9th October when they take on the world champions, Team USA, in a warm-up game in Hungary.

The game will be the last of a European tour the Americans are taking and is the last test for Sopron, three days before their Euroleague Women 2011/12 opening game against Tarbes.

The contest will be special for many other reasons.

During the game, Sopron will honour veteran Edit Eördögh, who is finishing her career.

The club will also welcome new name sponsors, UNIQA, and will honour the memory of Balázs Farkas, the president of MKB-EUROLEASING who passed away last week. 

Balázs Farkas made a big contribution to Hungarian sport, basketball and to Sopron. 

Sopron will also use the occasion to organize special activities to celebrate the Hungarian Cup and Championship titles they conquered last season.
